Art-Tip: Hands are a nightmare to most artists, but they are not so bad really. Even if you struggle to get them right, it’s ok if they don’t turn out great or perfect for quite a while, just keep drawing them even if you think they suck. Many young artists cover hands up with clothes, hair or just hide them behind the character, but this way you will never draw better hands! Just draw them even if it’s difficult, at some point you will draw hands that you are actually proud of…. it’s difficult and takes time, but just not drawing hands, really isn’t the right way!
Have fun drawing!
Art-Tips: Practising may be annoying at times, but if you do, the next time you are painting and you have to come up with a nice pose, instead of feeling: “oh my god poses, I don’t want to… headache, I wanna get to the actual painting…argh”, you may feel: “ok let’s come up with a nice pose, no problem” and believe me the latter feeling gives you so much more motivation to paint and it makes drawing a lot more fun and less depressing.
(Right now I wish my english was better, I don’t think that sentence above has correct grammar. Maybe I can find some school that I can go to, it’s difficult to get better in english if you have noone around that actually speaks the language.)
Have fun painting guys. :)
Art-Tips: Use reference photos that are allowed to be used for reference, you don’t want to get into any trouble with photographers. It’s not much of a problem with practise sketches like these, but anything else could be a problem.
The photos I used for reference here were created for artists to learn and reference.
